The NYDA is proud to congratulate Lebohang Monyatsi

Lebohang Monyatsi represented South Africa at the Miss Wheelchair World pegeant which was held in Poland, where she was crowned 1st princess.
Ms. Monyatsi won the 1st prize at the NYDA’s 2nd South African Youth Awards (SAYA) in the category, ‘Extra Ordinary Champions’. The Awards ceremony took place on 30 March 2017, at Saint George Hotel in Pretoria.
She was also a Finalist for ‘Face of the Globe 2017’, and the only Finalist with a disability. She studied Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology and is currently studying Bachelor of Communications Sciences.
Lebogang is recognised for representing her country, South Africa in the field of Wheelchair Basketball. She has represented South Africa in the following countries:
- 2015: Algeria
- Paralympics Qualifiers
- 2012: Mexico, Paralympics qualifies
- 2009: Quatamal, in South America, World cup qualifiers 
- 2008: Namibia
