NYDA LAUNCHES RURAL YOUTH PROGRAMME IN THE NORTH WEST
The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) in partnership with the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality in the North West Province, today launched a YouthBuild programme involving 100 unemployed rural youth from Taung and surrounding villages who are being trained in plumbing and welding. “This programme is another example of the real work carried out by the NYDA in rural areas with life-changing impact for the participants. Unemployed Youth To Be Trained As Artisans
100 National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) YouthBuild volunteers from uMsunduzi in KwaZulu Natal commenced a year-long programme today which will see them being trained as plumbers and working on sanitation infrastructure in their community. This uMsunduzi YouthBuild programme was born from a partnership between the NYDA and the uMsunduzi Local Municipality.
