About the Event



  1. •2010 saw the return of the highly successful Entrepreneurship Development Conference (EDC). While keeping its tradition of creating a national platform for debate and interaction on the latest entrepreneurship models and success stories, the host province and the partnerships secured have enabled a transformation of the conference for Limpopo opportunities.

  2. •The National Youth Development Agency partnered with the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET) to bring the combined Limpopo Business Exhibition and Entrepreneurship Development Conference 2010.

  3. •The partners both have a wealth of experience in hosting entrepreneurship events. Umsobomvu Youth Fund (now operating as the National Youth Development Agency) has successfully hosted five EDCs since 2004. Since 2005, LEDET in partnership with its agencies, Limpopo Business Support Agency (LIBSA), Limpopo Economic Development Enterprise (LIMDEV), Trade & Investment – Limpopo (TIL) and the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA); hosted two entrepreneurship events which took the format of exhibitions
