Welcome to the National Youth Development Agency

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is a South African youth development agency aimed at creating and promoting coordination in youth development matters. The NYDA results from the merger of the National Youth Commission and Umsobomvu Youth Fund.

The NYDA was formally launched on 16 June 2009, as pronounced by His Excellency President JG Zuma in his 2009 State of the Nation Address.

Establishment of NYDA Provincial Advisory Boards (PAB) underway

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is on-course with the establishment of the NYDA Provincial Advisory Boards (PABs).
