Service Provider Success Stories 2010

The Business Consulting Services Voucher programme had conducted a survey with accredited Services Providers who were active on the programme.

Communication were sent to all active service providers and based on the responses received, further interviews were conducted hence the following profiles were:

FATCO TRADING ENTERPRISE

FATCO trading enterprise started operating as a business in 2005. In 2008 they were approved and accredited by UYF to render business consultancy services to the voucher programme. They were approved and accredited for the following services:

• Marketing and promotional material
• Branding and design
• Web based marketing

Even through they were approved for 3 services they were more active in branding and design and web based marketing.

FATCO trading enterprise indicated that the Voucher Programme has had a positive impact on their business. The Voucher Programme has helped to expose them as a business and has also been a great source of business opportunity as they received more clients through the Voucher Programme.

To date FATCO trading enterprise has assisted ± 75 clients and almost all of the clients they have assisted have confirmed that the services they received from FATCO have helped to bring success into their business. Approximately 83% of the clients are still enjoying some kind of growth in their business as a result of the Business Consultancy Services provided to them by FATCO. At least 78% of the clients assisted by FATCO have received business loans, government deals or are enjoying private sector success.

Some of the businesses that were assisted by FATCO have grown and are enjoying an influx of new clients due to the exposure they got as a result of branding and web based marketing. Others have attracted bigger business opportunities due to the exposure they received from the services received from FATCO. Others have been able to employ more staff in their businesses and have grown and are delivering service to both government and the private sector.
