Youth Month celebration at Gert Sibande District Municipality in Ermelo, Mpumalanga
The NYDA Secunda Branch hosted a Youth Month celebration event on 21 June 2017 in which stakeholders such as SEDA, Department of Social Development, SARS and CIPC (amongst others) also formed part. The event was celebrated under the theme: “Youth moving South Africa forward” and was dedicated to honouring the memory of all students who died in the 16 June 1976 student Uprising.
The purpose of the event was to conduct outreach and information session regarding the agency’s products and services. Additionally, all stakeholders who participated also presented on their products and services to the young people. Question and answer session took place and young people interacted very positively.
Africa Public Service day commemoration in Daggakraal, Mpumalanga.
Africa Public Service day is an event entrenched in the African Union calendar. It originates from the conference of African Ministers for public or civil service that was held in Tangier, Morocco in 1994.
The purpose of this event was to discover innovations, reward excellence in the public sector and motivate public serviants.
Mpumalanga provincial government together with other stakeholders including NYDA Secunda Branch were celebrating provincial Africa public Service Day at Dr. Pixley ka Seme Local Municipality in Daggakraal on 23 June 2017.

NYDA was amongst other stakeholders exhibiting during the Intergovernmental Community Outreach program that was organised by SASSA in Ermelo. During the event, the agency exhibited its products and services directed to youth development to more than 12000 young people.
